SM-30 cans easy-open ends (lids) score residue laser meter is a microscope inspection equipment that uses laser precision measurement technology to measure the score (notch) depth and remaining thickness of the can easy-open lid (end). The SM-30 cans easy-open end (lid) score residue laser meter has two laser measuring heads. The upper laser measuring head measures the position of the upper surface of the lid and the depth of the score. The nether laser measuring head measures the "nether surface position" of the lid, the "nether surface position" of the lid score is set to a "zero" value. Each laser measuring head has a light emitter and a light receiving sensor. The light departs from the emitter, reaches the lid surface and the bottom of the score, and their reflected lights are received by the receiving sensor. There is a difference of the position between the surface of the lid and the bottom of the score, and there are also differences in the distance and time traveled by light. The receiving sensor transmits these differential signals to the computer. The computer can then calculate the depth and remaining thickness (residue) of the score on the easy-open lid. It takes about 5 seconds to measure once.
