Description

This digital enamel rater is used to test the degree of perforation of the anticorrosive coating layer in the can lid. The digital enamel rater is a fully automated testing equipment.

The Working Principle of the Digital Enamel Rater
Take the round metal lid as an example, place the can lid on the bottom end of a cylinder (or tube). Form a container. Place electrolyte (for example: sodium chloride solution, brine) in the container. Salt water is used as one electrode, and the outer surface of the metal cover is used as the other electrode, power ups. If the paint layer of the can lid is perforated, the current is very large. The degree of perforation of the paint layer of the can lid is judged by measuring the current value.
CE-10 digital enamel rater automatically place the end into measuring station, then get the current value (mA) of the end after 4 seconds, and also display Max current value and average current value at the same time. If any failure in test caused by poor contact, there will be a reminder and warning. Data can be output to PC via interface.
