The solvent (A) in the bottle, hereinafter referred to as the mobile phase, is pumped into the detection system by the high pressure pump (B). The sample (D, liquid) is "injected" into the sample mixer (E) by a microsyringe and mixed with the mobile phase, is loaded into the HPLC separation column (F) by the mobile phase. There are some fixed particles in the HPLC separation column, hereinafter referred to as the stationary phase. Since the components in the sample have different partition coefficients in the two phases (mobile phase and stationary phase), when they are relatively moved in two phases, after repeated "adsorption-desorption" distribution, the components have a large difference in the moving speed, they are separated into individual components and flow out of the column in sequence. Due to the alternating infusion of the dual pump heads, the piston rod and seal life is twice as long as the conventional tandem pump in the same infusion volume. The mechanical components of the pump are all computer-aided design with high machining accuracy. Each pump undergoes a rigorous pressure test so that the pump is leak free. The high pressure pump has a condition monitoring function. The microprocessor controls the flow and pressure of the pump in real time. When the pressure exceeds the limit value, an alarm is issued and the pump is automatically stopped.
